The Hot-Steam® IRS Series iron shoes are made from lightweight aluminum alloy coated with a baked-on layer of industrial grade PTFE. Because the coating is not glued on, it will not bubble or peel over time.
The smooth, low friction PTFE surface allows the iron to glide effortlessly, reducing operator fatigue. Your iron will not scorch or stick – even on the most delicate or hard-to-press fabrics.
